The 2019 BSP Spring meeting is for the first time running as a joint event with the Belgian Society of Parasitology and Protistology and the Netherlands Society for Parasitology. Members from all three Societies will be able to benefit from reduced registration rates.

14th International Congress of Parastiology (ICOPA 2018)

Les Congrès de la Société Française de Parasitologie et de Mycologie Médicale qui se dérouleront du 29 au 31 mars 2017 à Toulouse auront pour thématiques les résistances (protozoaires, helminthes, arthropodes) et les parasitoses tropicales négligées d’importation pour la parasitologie et les mycoses émergentes pour la mycologie médicale.
Vous pouvez d’ores et déjà vous s’inscrire et soumettre vos propositions de communication directement sur le site. Indépendamment des thématiques annoncées, des sessions de communications libres sont aussi prévues. Date limite de soumission des abstracts : 7 février 2017
Cette année, 5 bourses seront attribuées à des étudiants d’un pays du « Sud » pour leur donner l’occasion de présenter leurs travaux en séance plénière. Ces bourses couvriront les frais de déplacement (billet d’avion), d’hébergement et d’inscription au congrès. La sélection des candidats se fera par le Conseil scientifique du Congrès après examen des critères d’éligibilité et des résumés proposés.

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the next VII European Congress of Protistology, VII ECOP, which will be held on September 5 to 10,
2015 in Seville (Spain) hosted by the Specialized Group of Protistology (Grupo Especializado de Protistología, GEP) of the Spanish Society of Microbiology (SEM). The Congress will be organized by
FEPS (Federation of European Protistological Societies) for the first time in partnership with the International Society of Protistologists (ISOP). Venues of the
VII ECOP-ISOP Joint Meeting will be the Hotel-Conference Center Silken Al-Andalus Palace and the Scientific Campus “Reina Mercedes” of the University of Seville. We are very much
looking forward to hosting this major scientific event.
ECOP congresses take place every four years (last ones at Berlin 2011, Germany, and St. Petersburg 2007, Russia) and cover all aspects of the Protistology field. We expect that this first
ECOP-ISOP joint congress will be an outstanding meeting point for protistologists worldwide to present their work and discuss their scientific achievements.
The format of the VII ECOP-ISOP Joint Meeting includes Plenary Lectures, parallel Symposia and Workshops lectures, and Poster presentations. The Congress has been designed to
provide a comprehensive overview of the latest research developments in different Protistological fields, from the molecular to the ecological ones. ISOP organized and generously supported two
symposia and two plenary lectures.

The 2015 VII ECOP Congress (European Congress of Protistology) will be held in Seville (Spain) early September 2015, hosted by the Specialized Group of Protistology (Grupo Especializado de Prostistologia, GEP) of the Spanish Society of Microbiology (SEM). The congress venue will be at the Campus “Av. Reina Mercedes” of the University of Seville. Effors will be made to hold this ECOP congress jointly with the European Conference on Ciliate Biology.
The Mexican society of parasitology and the Latin America federation of parasitology organize the XIII international congress of parasitology 2014 to be held from the 10 to 15 august 2014 in the Centro Banamex, Mexico City.

A small protistology meeting will be organised at the University of Neuchâtel on April 15-16th 2014. The meeting will also be a UniNE PhD program course but it should be of interest to PhD students as well as more senior researchers.
